Instead of asking your husband to make a quick stop at the grocery store on his way home from work, you ask him to make a quick stop at SAMS Club for 4 gallons of milk, 4 loaves of bread, and a few other assorted “little” things… and he agrees that it’s a little trip.

It doesn’t take long to go through a loaf of bread, or a gallon of milk, lol….we’ve only got 4 kids under 8, and we go through at least two loaves of bread (unless we have grilled cheese for dinner) and three gallons of milk in a week….I totally understand!
Thanks for the giggle! Our trips to Sams are always very pricey and it is only three of us!
Ha ha…you might have a small family if you don’t even have a membership to SAMS and have to rely on your mother when she goes! I am sure though, down the road we will get one since this one on the way is not the last!
How are you feeling???
You might have a large family if instead of sending your dh with a list, he just calls you from the store and you walk him through it.
Blessings,
Lisa in Jax
Sarah, it’s amazing how fast we go through the staples, isn’t it?
Katie, I think our problem is that we go to SAMS for a few particular items, and leave with a whole bunch of other things that we hadn’t considered till we got there. That really makes a pricey trip, LOL! I’ve recently discovered the “Click and Pull” feature on their website, where they’ll assemble your order and email you when it’s ready for pickup. That helps us to avoid those “impulse” purchases!
Lisa, Ah yes, we’ve done that too!
And Leslie, you can come to SAMS Club with me anytime you want!
